Because small contributions help

Agnes is fourteen and missed an arm when she was born. Her mum died when she was still very young. She did not have an easy childhood and was considered a ‘failure’ by everyone, not least her father who abandoned her a few years ago. Since then she lives with two elder cousins who mainly use here as a domestic servant. It is not surprising she did not do very well in school.

This changed when the Bondeko foundation took over the management of the school and the new headteacher checked her home situation and went to see Wakiso social services. The probation officer decided that Agnes could no longer stay with her cousins. At present she lives with the headteacher who gives her all the love and care she needs. Agnes can smile again.

Make children smile, support us.
